Overview

Markham is a private real estate investment group which was founded by its principal James Markham with the assistance of his father in 1995. With the complementary real estate and engineering skills of James and his father Geoff, they initially undertook investing in and managing medium density residential developments and acting as development managers for large scale industrial and mixed use developments.

In early 2000, the business evolved and focused on co-investing with private investors in income producing commercial real estate. This led to the establishment of the first of a number of “M Series” managed funds, which seek to target enhanced risk adjusted returns by applying the core real estate skills of the senior leadership team. An intimate knowledge of local markets, co investment and our hands on management approach reflect the heritage of the business and remain central to its culture and ongoing success.
