Max is both very experienced and commercially astute with more than 30 years in the property sector.

 

Prior to joining Markham, Max held senior finance and secretarial positions within the Australian publicly listed RIET sector. His experience includes long term roles with Stockland, including as National Financial Controller specialising in operational and compliance management and with Mirvac as Group Company Secretary and Financial Controller.

Max is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia and a Fellow of the Governance Institute of Australia (formerly Chartered Secretaries Australia).

Ron is a graduate of the Harvard University Advanced Management Program, a Fellow of the Society of Certifying Practicing Accountants (former NSW and National President) and a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

Ron was appointed a Member of the Order of Australia for his services to the accounting profession.

Prior to establishing Murchisons, James held a management position with KPMG (formerly Peat Marwick) having operated in the areas of audit, business services and insolvency. His wide ranging experience includes establishing sustainable corporate governance frameworks, including risk assessment and management processes for businesses, particularly during the start-up phase.

James has a Bachelor Commerce from the University of New South Wales, is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia and a member of Australian Institute of Company Directors.
